Who We Are:

Applied Equipment Solutions (AES) was founded in 2015 by Ed Zajdel and managing partner with the intent to capitalize on HVAC opportunities in the commercial market of Maryland's Eastern Shore.

AES (Applied Equipment Solutions) was the first commercial HVAC representative firm located on the Delmarva Peninsula utilizing local businesses and contractors across three states.

In July 2017, AES expanded its services by becoming the supplier of York Residential and Commercial Equipment and Parts to the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. We are fully staffed and take pride in the high-quality products that we offer. We offer many brands of HVAC products including LG, GE Air & Water, YORK, Samsung, Modine and many more trusted brands.  At AES, we work closely with mechanical engineers to design and spec jobs to offer complete packages on commercial HVAC jobs.

In 2023, we opened our second branch in Beltsville, MD where we stock residential and commercial equipment and accessories.

We pride ourselves on building relationships and educating both our contractors and engineers about current and future products in the industry, and why certain products would have a better fit for various job requirements.
